Mary Ellen May Linnell, 77, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 16, 2013, in the company of her family.
Mary was born March 10, 1936 in Grovont, Wyoming, to Lester I. and Melba L. May. She married Gary R. Linnell on February 26, 1960. Mary graduated from Jackson Wilson High School and attended Utah State University.
Mary was an excellent seamstress, had a gift for quilting, and was an exceptional cook. She never missed a birthday, anniversary, special occasion, dance or piano recital. Everyone she met became her family. She was a wonderful lady with a heart as big as Wyoming. Mary loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her greatest passion.
Survived by her husband, sons Torr (Jane) Linnell, and Bob (Jo) Linnell, daughters Jana (Ramon) Galvan, and Jill (Nathan) Mueller. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. Mary is survived by her siblings Clara Bush and Bob (Tovi) May. Her brother Dick May also passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Jackson, WY. Preceded in death by her parents, and brother Lanny May.
Services will be held Friday, June 21, at 2:00 pm, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held Thursday, June 20, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, and one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
