I just learned of your dear mother's passing and feel terrible that I didn't know earlier. Your mother was my Junior Humanities teacher at Bountiful High School in 1985-86. Her sincere concern for me and compassion made a huge impact on my life. I learned so many important and valuable lessons from your mother. Lessons which went well beyond the basics of Humanities. I have enjoyed the friendship which we have shared throughout the years. I feel so honored to have had the true privilege to be counted among your mother's friends and students. I loved when I would run into your mother at the store and we would chat and catch up on life. She was always so genuinely concerned about me and my family and would share with me about how her children were doing. She was always so proud of each of you. How blessed you are to have an angel for a mother. I always walked away smiling and feeling so enlightened after spending time with your mother. Her wisdom and gentle words will always help guide me on my life's journey. My mother recently passed away and I truly know how difficult this time is for you. Please know that my prayers are with each of you. May you find comfort and strength knowing that your mother is beside you and loves you so very much. Much Love.

We will certainly miss Mary Ann's beautiful spirit. We loved her so much.
She is an example to us of one overcoming adversity. She had her share of so much. We hope she gives all of our loved ones big hugs and kisses from all of us left behind. Her Dad's favorite sister.

The yournger photo is the way I will always remember Mary Ann. We were classmates in high school and college. Even though we worked in the same district, our paths rarely crossed after college. I remember her as a thoughtful and a very caring person.

Many blessings to those loved ones who feel the loss of the physical Mary Ann. Trust that her Divine Self is radiant and perfect and now free from the burden of a dysfunctioning body. Her spirit still is present, and for those who choose to seek her out in a non-physical form, the reward is grand.

Many blessings to the family and friends.

I am very pleased to have known Katie, Mary Ann's sister. If Mary Ann is as beautiful inside and out as her sister, I really missed out getting to know her.

I remember Mary as a kind animal lover. She always wanted to do right by her beloved. Life threw her some difficult curves and she suffered so much but stood strong. I am hoping that King, Bryan, and Mikell will be strong and benefit from her example as a kind, concerned person. Love you.

Dear Children, Your mother IS the best!!! During most of my years at David Gourley Elementary we were the best of friends and all she ever talked about was you 3! When we would have lunch or stay up half the night talking, we'd talk about our kids; their trials, accomplishments, how much we loved them and what we wanted for them as they grew up. She always wanted what was best for you 3 and loved you without question. She was fun, silly, the life of the party! I have missed our late night conversations over the past few years, but we both got busy with life, older and slower and I guess we just needed much more sleep than before! In one of our our last conversations though, all we talked about was comparing our lives as children with that of our children's lives. We talked like mom's who were proud of how their kids were turning out and we talked of growing older and of our health conserns but mostly all she wanted to do was catch up on all the news at school, with my life and kids and to share what had been happening with you all. Even when she was a little down, just talking about her kids made her heart happy and made her tone lighter and brighter. She loved you 3 with all her heart and life. Never forget that! I know you will all miss her, I will miss her too, but know that she is no longer in pain and she will always be right beside you, each of you, cheering you on in life. Her love for you is FOREVER and ETERNAL! May God Bless and keep watch over you as you live your lives as you have planned and shared with your Mom. Be well and happy throughout the years and know that someday you will all be together again. She is one of my "BESTEST friends!" Thank you for sharing her with me.
