1911 - 2013
Cedar Hills, Utah-Ora passed peacefully away July 25, 2013 at her home in the Charleston in Cedar Hills, Utah. She died just three months shy of her 102nd birthday. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Nana was a real lady with her own special style and always wanted to look her best. At The Charleston she found new friends and cherished those friendships. Her testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ flourished in this environment.
Ora was blessed with many talents which included knitting, crocheting, painting, reading, photography fishing and astronomy. She was an accomplished pianist and worked for many years as an Assistant Loan Officer and secretary. She is survived by her children Anne (Cliff) Siler, Riverton; Kenneth (Joanne) Nunley, Alpine; Claudia (Parker) Leach, Yacolt, WA; Linda Hughes, American Fork. She has 38 grandchildren, 89 great grandchildren, 57 great-great grandchildren, 5 great-great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, son, one grandson and three great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Charleston and Encompass Hospice for their endless caring help and love.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Cedar Hills West Stake Center at 4580 Cedar Hills Dr., Cedar Hills, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 10:00 - 10:45 am. Interment will be at the Riverton City Cemetery. Online condolences at www.jenkins-soffe.com
