I was shocked to hear the bad news. I went through the academy with Jim and bought my first house from him. He was a great friend and a great man. It was an honor and privilege to know him. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Vickie-We are so sorry for your loss. Jim was one of the very few I have such a great respect for. He was a great friend from the time he started at the Sheriff's office as a records clerk. I had fun working with him in the evidence room also. Especially moving something on his desk and watching him straighten it. He is a great guy. We will miss him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jim was a great guy. I first knew him when he worked in Records. We were car partners back in the day for a brief period. He was always in a good mood, even when he had the horrendous job of fleet manager. I don't know how he kept his sanity but he did. He was a valuable member of the Sheriff's Office and will be missed.

Jim was a fantastic individual. Truly one of the great men of our time. Jim as friendly to all, liked by everyone and enjoyed a good conversation about most any subject. His passing leaves a large hole in the circle of friends that knew Jim. R.I.P. my brother.
