Who but Ray could teach you how to make the best margarita on the planet while on a boat in the middle of Lake Mead (armed with nothing but a plastic bucket and an ice pick)? I still make them "Ray's Way". We had world-class arguments about everything, but as the years rolled by, I realized that I couldn't have asked for a better mentor and no one could have provided a more inspiring job with the most talented and hard-working people than Ray did for all of us at Quanta. He was brilliant, crazy, obsessive and beloved and I'll miss him forever.

Ray had the wisdom to supply an ice maker for the marketing department at Quanta! Enabled marketing to spend many evenings in a pleasant working environment. Thanks for the memories Ray!!!

In my 20's I feared him, in my 30's I was inspired by him, in my 40's I found a friend in him. He was a great teacher, mentor and friend and I am saddened by his passing.
