We remember Robert Aldous Bullough who died in his sleep on June 11th, 2013.
Bob was born September 18th, 1927 to Arnold and Lucille Bullough. He graduated from South High, served in the military and worked for Questar as a design draftsman. He married Bonnie Jean Vincent in 1949 and raised four children in Kearns. Bob loved to fish, tend his garden, spent winter months with relatives in Arizona after retiring, watching his grandchildren grow up, and enjoyed listening to bag pipe music. Bob was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church serving in various capacities as well as an early civic booster of Kearns. Bob collected Nutcrackers, light houses and match box cars.
Bob had a wonderful smile and loved to laugh and he showed an enduring patience with everyone. He was deeply loved and will be missed.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother Gene; and sister's Letty and Donna; his loving wife Bonnie; daughter Marianne Hartt and son Dale Bullough.
Bob is survived by daughter Christene (Dave) Thresher; son John Bullough (Joe Zachmann); son-in-law Gary Hartt, daughter-in-law Jennifer Bullough, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Jack Vincent; sister-in-laws Mary Smuin, Henriette Bullough and Brenda Vincent, and many nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank the staff of Legacy House of Taylorsville and Inspiration Hospice, and especially Elizabeth.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29th, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4290 West 5415 South.
