Robert "Bob" Christiansen|
1947 ~ 2013
Our loving father, grandfather, brother and friend "Bob" Robert Boyd Christiansen, 65, returned to the Lord, Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Although Dad's passing was unexpected, it was due to natural causes and he went peacefully.
He was born October 11, 1947, in Provo, Utah to Boyd Norman and Fern Mountford Christiansen.
Dad graduated from Orem High School in 1965. He worked all of his life in the construction industry as a construction manager and consultant. He lived in Utah, California, and Alaska. There was nothing Dad couldn't build, repair, restore or replace; he was truly a "Master of All Trades and Jack of None". Besides his family, Dad's other loves were movies, reading, camping, dancing & music, especially Waylon & Willie & the Boys. Dad's strength and happiness came from his relationships with Jesus and his family. Our hearts are broken; but we rejoice knowing that he is in the kingdom of Heaven.
He is survived by his daughters, Stacy Lassen (Darryn), Lorie Pearson (Joe), and his five sons, Jon (Sandra), Bridger (Natalie), Bodie (Melisa), Brewster (Leah) and Broc Christiansen. His grandchildren; Dylan, Statler, Hunter, Kaylee, Makayla, Trysten, Tanner, Addison, and Marlow. Sister, Julie (Cordell) Bott and his faithful companion, "Princess" Domino.
Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Richard and Tommy Christiansen.
A celebration of Dad's life will be held Saturday, August 10th at 1:00 p.m. at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary 495 South State, Orem. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to worldvision.org. Condolences may be sent to the family at
