Ronald Rosenlund
1930 ~ 2019
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Ronald B. Rosenlund, passed away quietly in the home of his son, Terry, January 8, 2018, at the age of 88.
Ron served in the Army and is a Veteran of the Korean War. He was self-employed for over 50 years as a Paint Contractor. Ron loved to work in his garden, remodel his home and work with wood. He made many beautiful things following in his father's footsteps. In his early days, Ron loved to go camping and was an active and devoted Scouter. He enjoyed collecting things, including stamps, coins and gems. Ron loved his family and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many callings; his favorite, serving as Executive Secretary, which he did faithfully with six different Bishops.
Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen (2011); and their two daughters, Janice and Michelle. He is survived by sons, Terry (Cindy), Blaine (Jan); daughter, Annette; two granddaughters; one grandson; and seven great-grandchildren.
Viewing to be held Friday, January 18, 2019, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at the Pioneer Stake Center, 1401 West 700 South, Salt Lake City. Viewing prior to service from noon to 12:45 p.m. Interment to follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City.
