Memories and Condolences
for ROSE LANGSTON

Not sure what to say?

Sweet Mom, twelve years have flown by and every one of the days in those years has had a fond remembrance of you. Even now, I am filled with my love for you. Each time I place flowers on your resting place, I reflect on all of our time together. I laugh when I think of all of the times we spent shelling raw peas or cracking open pine nuts and devouring them. We were so determined and patient. I still remember our the nice picture of us sitting on a big rock in front of your house in Magna. I especially remember the warm hug we shared. I was a big bear hugging an angel. I am aging now and will be joining you some day, but until then, I will always carry you in my heart and never forget you. I love you so much.

My loving mother,
Eight years has passed by so quickly, but it seems like an eternity since I last hugged you. Each year I miss you more than ever. I still can't believe that you're gone. The place in my heart which holds the love that I will always have for you is still full. Even now as tears slide down my cheeks, I remember your caring for me, the laughs that we shared, and the love that you generously gave to me. I find some comfort knowing that you are in heaven and free from the pain that you had in your life. I am so happy that you were my mother. I love you now and forever!

Mom,
I have always tried to be there for you when you needed me. I didn't know how to help you this time. I can't imagine this world without you. Who will I laugh with on Sundays? Who will I call each day at lunch time? Who will my students sing "Happy Birthday" to on your birthday? Who will I cry to when I am sad? The emptiness that has overwhelmed me will never go away. I will always be happy that I had such an amazing mom, and I will forever have sadness in my heart that you are gone. Your unconditional love has always motivated me to strive to be a better son. You were my strength during the tough times. My love for you will continue forever and ever. I have left tears on your final pillow that you will take with you forever. I love you more than these meager words can express. Rest, be at peace, be pain free, be happy in the arms of our almighty God. Thanks for having me to be with you on this earth.
Eternal hugs and kisses and of course with all of the love that I have in my heart.

Your loving son,

Ron

My dearest Mom, You will never know how much I truley love you. I was so glad we got to spend not only our lives together but the last month we spent here in my home. You even made the Dr's visits a time of fun even though you knew the outcome wasn't good. Through all the tears and bad news, We had so much fun getting lost in the hosp. parking lot and eating what we called lunch at Costco, I never saw you try so many different foods. I've never met a harder working person in my life, you dedicated your whole life serving other's with not the appreciation you deserved. I will miss everything about you, This life will be hard without you in it but I know you will always watch over me, Save me a place Mom, I love you with all my heart,,,, DeLaine

Mr. Langston, I know your mom must have been a very special lady, since you were one of the best teachers I had growing up. It would take a special person to make you who you are. Thanks for all your support @ Lake Ridge Elementary. I am very sorry to hear of your moms passing and hope that your memories of her will help you through until you meet again. All my sympathies.
