Salt Lake City, UT-Known for pouring his eccentric heart onto a wide range of visual and audio canvas and dedicated to spreading his infectious smile and befriending every life he touched, Russell Lee Lyman passed away on January 11, 2013, due to complications from pneumonia.
A loving husband, son, uncle and treasured friend to all, has moved on from this life to the next, painting an eternal canvas in the Universe. Russ grew up in the Sugarhouse area and graduated from Highland High School. He also attended the University of Utah, and was a member of the LDS church. Russ was born on October 18, 1967 to C.H and D. Colleen Lyman. Russ was the youngest of six children.
Survived by his wife Laurie; his Father, C.H. Lyman; sister Pamela Lyman; brothers; David (Diana) Lyman, Dennis (Margi) Lyman, Cory (Kary) Lyman and Brent Lyman, many, many wonderful nephews and nieces and his special "little" feline buddy, Caesar Lee. Preceded in death by his Mother, Colleen Lyman and niece Anita Lee.
Funeral services will be held at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary, 10055 South State Street Sandy Utah 84070 on Saturday, January 19th at 2:00pm. Viewings will be held on Friday evening Jan 18 from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm and on Saturday at 1:00 pm prior to the services where family and friends may pay their respect.
