Ryker Warner Obituary
2012 ~ 2013
Ryker Jason Warner was born March 7, 2012 at 8:23am in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a 6lbs 8oz beautiful baby boy, but sadly born with an extremely complex condition called Heterotaxy, along with 5 very serious congenital heart defects. Ryker's loving family moved mountains to get Ryker the very best care that he could possibly have & dedicated their lives to doing anything & everything necessary to save their baby boy's life. Ryker is survived by his loving parents; Jason and Rachel Warner, his four adoring older siblings; Trett, Jadd, Braylee and Addisyn Warner, as well as a massive family who all loved him dearly! During Ryker's short life he endured 4 open heart surgeries, an intestinal surgery, 3 days on ECMO, as well as spending the first 341 days of life within the walls of the loving & beyond wonderful Boston Children's Hospital. But much more importantly, than any medical interventions- Ryker LIVED & loved every second he had with the ones he loved, including half the hospital he was living in. Regardless of the hand he was dealt, our little miracle boy smiled, talked, moved around & loved life! He could stare into your soul with his big beautiful blue eyes, in a way that is indescribable unless you experienced it firsthand. Ryker touched more lives in his almost 14 months of life, than most do in an entire lifetime. He had a way of letting everyone in the world know that it doesn't matter what you go through- Life is a great & wonderful blessing to have! He always had a beautiful smile on his face, especially when it came to any one of his four older siblings, his eyes just lit up when he saw them! We had 8 weeks at home with our sweet little Ryker & we loved every single second of all of it. He was finally able to be at home, with the love of his family surrounding him daily. He was able to experience sights & smells that he had never experienced before, be held as often as he wanted, lay in the warmth of the sunlight & have his sisters & brothers love him to bits, every second of every day. On April 26, 2013 at 9:40am our family's world came crashing down when our sweet, precious boy earned his angel wings & left this earth to be with our Heavenly Father. Our lives will never be the same in so many ways, as well as the lives of tens of thousands of loving followers, and although we are left with shattered hearts, Ryker's heart is finally whole & beautiful just like we have always prayed for it to be. Fly high Beautiful Angel Boy! We will miss you immensely!

I will always remember this sweet little boy with huge endearing eyes that pulled on the hearts around the world. He was courageous and he battled. The beautiful smile he gave was like the sun had eclipsed everywhere and everyone who followed his journey. The strength from his family, the loving devoting staff that moved mountains to get him home and all his loving followers felt the pain for the family on the day he decided he wanted to make his body whole again. They say time flys but it only felt like yesterday I was waking to check in every morning as I am in the UK. Your story really stayed with me just like Tripps did and always will. Ryker was born a Hetrotaxy warrior and even though his milestones were always high he always strived to meet them. Now you´re a teen that´s another huge mile stone your family would have so much loved to have shared with the world. Yet 12 years on your still thought of as the sweet little boy with the smile that melted everyone´s hearts. Sweet dreams Ryker and sending loving thoughts from the UK to your family as another year passes. XxxxxX

I remember Ryker so well. He and my son were only a few months apart in age. I would hold my son a little tighter because of Ryker. I couldn't imagine life without him but I know I would of done anything in the world to save him, just like you and your family did for Ryker. You did everything humanly possible for your precious baby, you gave him life and loved him soooo much in that life. His story touched so many people and your foundation has helped so many more people in his honor. Just want to send you light and live on this day. Prayers to you and your family.

I remember Ryker and his sweet smile & such beautiful big eyes that drew me in to his journey from the early days of his battle. He fought, he lost, he won, he smiled and yes he cried too but so did the whole world who followed him when he left for his new journey with his healed heart and everyone behind him as he was passed to the Heavenly Father for him to be protected by all those that love him above. I remember I used to get up each morning UK time and would rush to check how his night had been or his morning and always dreaded having to read the post we read the day his family let all those around the world that loved him know his fight was over. I cried and cried for that´ little boy I had never met. I felt so close to his story from the early days his family gave him everything and If love would have been enough to save him he would never have had to battle. He has a beautiful family that together will love and remember there brother and son not just on his anniversaries but everyday for every little memory they was able to make in them 14 precious months he had with his family.
Today I send love and strength to his family as another year is remembered and hope as a family they can keep that strong bond and one day will all be together again.
Sweet Ryker I hope your bouncing among the stars, breathing easy now your healed. Look over your mama & papa as they get through another year without you.

Rachael and Jason, I don't know of anyone so small that fought so hard as your adorable, special angel, miracle Ryker. I can imagine seeing him in tiny boxing gloves. As for his parents, this is where he got his fight from.. You never gave up, you were there at his side constantly fighting for him, doing all you could to keep him here on earth.. There are no words,but please know that Ryker has taken a piece of my heart with him,thank you to his family for allowing us the pleasure of following Ryker and his Family through Facebook,
Ryker you were a very special boy you so brightened the life of an old woman,everyday I checked in to see how you were doing and to get a look at that beautiful smile,I was heartbroken when I heard you had gotten your wings,my heart went out to your mommy and daddy and all your family you were so loved Ryker! I know you will be watching over your mommy and daddy and your family and you will guide them through these terrible days that lie ahead for them,we will miss you so much Sweet Ryker,please know that your friend in Nova Scotia will be there in spirit as we celebrate your life,I will be releasing some balloon here for you Ryker and each balloon will have something about you inside and hopefully someone will catch a balloon and know that a very special young man has left our Earth to Fly High with the Angels
