I am so sorry to hear of Trent's passing. I enjoyed working with him on the Salt Lake City Fire Department where he brought his great skills and his terrific sense of humor. Trent had a great gift for seeing the humor in many situations and it was a pleasure to be with him. I wish you all peace in this time of sorrow.

To the Ramseyer Family,
I want all of you to know what a great man Trent was. I served both as a crew member and for a short time, his Captain at Fire Station 5. His skills as an Engineer were unsurpassed, and his care and compassion for those he worked with always impressed me. He taught me much, from golf to fire operations, and I will always be grateful for the time I served with him.
I wish you peace in this difficult time.

I was saddened to hear of Trents untimley death. I met the ramseyer family when I was 13 years old and became friends with Verlene. even tho the miles seperate me from you all. I am thinking and praying for you all. I am thankful and blessed to have known Trent Ramseyer. He was a good example to me at such a young age of what a real father should be like. thank you for welcoming me into your lives. I will miss trent as I know all of you do. Trent, I remember well the first day you came to your first duty fire station # 9 or the (animal house) as it was called on the job. You came with a clever wit and a great big laugh. You were a great friend to all and served your fellow firefighters and the community with honor. We will miss you and look forward to the next 18 holes. God Bless your family
