WENZLE MORRILL

Wenzle D. Morrill 1929 ~ 2009 Wenzle D. Morrill, age 80, passed away November 5th, 2009 at the Dixie Regional Medical Center. He was born April 4, 1929 to Dellos and Pearl Covington Morrill in Salina, UT. Wenzle spent his early years in Grover, Wayne County. He moved to Pleasant Grove in 1940 and attended Pleasant Grove High School. He enlisted with the US Army and was stationed in Goveners Island, N.Y. He resided in Staten Island for four years. Wenzle married Mildred on January 20, 1949 in Winsted, Connecticut. They resided in Winsted until four years ago when they returned to live in Wayne County. He retired from S.N.E.T. Phone Company. He is survived by his wife Mildred and son Gary (Janet) Morrill of Torrington, CT. He is also survived by sisters, Colleen Beckstrom, West Jordan, UT ; Karon Beckstrom, Ivins, UT; Linda Nash, Spanish Fork, UT; Linda Hansen, American Fork, UT; Venneta Davenport, Cedar City, UT; brothers Lincoln Morrill, Spanish Fork, UT and Randall Morrill, American Fork, UT. He was preceded in death by baby daughter, Linda May, brother, Phyl Morrill, parents and a wonderful step mother, Lourie Meeks Morrill. Services will be held Monday, November 9th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Torrey Chapel. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment at Grover Cemetery.
