Obituary Condolences

Anthony James-Francis Hood Will Be Missed Anthony James-Francis Hood left this world on January 26, 2011. He has found peace at last in the loving arms of God. Tony was the gentlest of giants. He loved everyone and lifted the spirits of everyone he met by telling them they were awesome; even total strangers. He gave of his time unselfishly to help others in need. He loved his dog and cat. He loved music and taught himself to play the guitar and piano. He listened to music as he went on long walks. Tony was a hero in life and in death as he donated his organs, in particular his heart. He loved his mother dearly. He loved his brother Joseph, his best friend. He loved and was proud of his little brother Matt serving on a mission. Tony was loved by all and will be sorely missed. We shall always remember this choice and special young man. Survived by father Curt Hood (Karma), mother Pauline Hood, sister Catherine Hood, and brothers Joseph Hood and Matthew Hood. Funeral services will be held at the Winder 6th Ward Chapel, 4366 South 1500 East on January 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may pay their last respects to Tony one hour prior to services.
