Tyler Cevering Soelberg 1986 ~ 2011 Farr West - Tyler Cevering Soelberg, 25, passed away into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 21, 2011 due to injuries sustained in a bicycling accident. He was born in Ogden, Utah on February 12, 1986 to W. David Soelberg and Pamela Cevering. Tyler had a passion for life and learning and enjoyed being with family and friends. He attended Weber County schools, graduating as the valedictorian of the class of 2004 from Fremont High School. Tyler served an honorable LDS mission in Albania where he adored the people and considered the country his second home, returning several times to visit. He loved to travel, having spent time in Europe and the Philippines, and doing humanitarian work in Peru and Honduras. He graduated magna cum laude this spring from the University of Utah, earning degrees in Film, Physics and Business. He was enticed by the challenge of blending art and science. Tyler was blessed with many talents and he enjoyed sharing them with all who knew him. He had a love for music and the "beautiful game" of soccer, which he played for Fremont and the U of U each for four years. He was Real Salt Lake's biggest fan. Tyler is survived by his parents; sister, Shawnee (Brady) Haws, North Salt Lake; brothers, Joshua (Krissey) Soelberg, Rio Rancho, NM; and Curtis Soelberg, Farr West; a niece (Londyn Soelberg) and nephew (Barrett Haws) who he adored and loved with all his heart. He is also survived by his grandparents, Leonard and Darla Cevering and Neoma Soelberg and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Charlene Soelberg. The family expresses thanks and appreciation to members of the Weber County Sheriff's Department and Ogden Paramedic units who helped Tyler. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Farr West 4th Ward, 2132 W. 2700 N. Friends may visit with family on Monday, July 25, 2011 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to the services at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
