Linda Graham Obituary
1949 - 2014
Our dear Daughter, Sister and Aunt has returned home to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on March 6th 2014.
She was born October 25th 1949 in Salt Lake City to William A. and Flora J. Graham. Although she never married, Linda had a rich and fulfilling life, which she shared with many. She grew up as a "Main" babysitter in her neighborhood, which evolved into her great love of working and mentoring young children and teens.
She served in many positions in her church. Primary and Sunday School Teacher, Road Show Director, Young Women's Sports Director, and Relief Society Presidency of the first singles ward of the LDS Church. Because of her devoted service, she had received numerous church awards and sports trophies.
During her life, she worked for the Church Offices, Mutual of Omaha, Farmers Insurance, Hotel Utah, Biometrics, and Ceramatec. She retired from the work force early in life due to complications from her illness of Multiple Sclerosis, which she bravely battled since 1992.
Among her greatest joys and loves was her family, especially her nieces, Bobi and Toni; her great nephews and nieces; Porter, Kade, Savana, Adyson and Jackson. She also had an abundance of friends, and a God-Daughter, Katie. Her favorite hobbies were sports, traveling, scrap booking, bowling, cooking, and dancing.
She is survived by her brothers, Bill Jr. (Cristina), and Mark (Paula); her sister, Koreen (Randy Winkel), nieces, Bobi (Quinn Whitlock) and Toni (Chris Young). She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Flora Graham; grandparents, Roy W. and Elnora Johnson, and William A and Geneva Graham.
The family wishes to thank Ray and Kay Woolsey for their love, friendship and the great care they gave to Linda.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, UT. Visitation from 10:00 to 10:45 prior to service.
