Sherry Carlson Crane Obituary
Sherry Carlson Crane
Till We Meet Again
Sherry Carlson Crane, 66, wife of Micheal Lee Crane of Washington, Utah died April 5, 2014 in the arms of her sweetheart and surrounded by her family, after a valiant and courageous battle of many ongoing illnesses. Sherry is reunited with her guardian angel, James Cameron, her daddy she never met in this life.
Sherry married her childhood sweetheart at the age of 16, a true fairy tale romance of undying love. Her passion was her family. She loved to spend time with them anywhere, especially on their mountain property, Salina Creek, where many memories were made. She and Mike were to have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this July. She reluctantly and unselfishly left the arms of her adoring husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her daughters Wendy Crane of Washington, UT, Michelle (Steve) Butterfield of Brigham City, UT, Kristy (Steve) Hanni of Fruit Heights, UT, and Patty (Shay) Goff of Minersville, UT, 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers Robert and Rick Carlson, and sisters Barbara Tracy, Linda Carlson, and Tammy Hackwell as well as a loving mother-in-law Annie LaVona Crane (Floyd) Weight. She is preceded in death by her mother Ann Carlson, father James Cameron, step father Lamar Carlson and father-in-law Merrill Jay Crane.
Sherry loved the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a valiant servant of our Heavenly Father with unwavering faith. She served in the Young Women's, the Relief Society and many other callings throughout the years. To all ward members and friends who endlessly fasted, prayed and provided constant service, and to Mel Draper (Uncle Mel), Sherry's family would like to express their gratitude. A special thanks to the young men of the ward who faithfully fulfilled their priesthood calling and brought her the sacrament each week.
Sherry and family extend a special "Thank You" to the heart transplant team at IMC Hospital and Heavenly Father for giving us over 8 years of timeless memories. Sherry's incredible faith supported and sustained her through many trials and will continue to support her family and all who knew her through generations.
