Julia Vicchrilli Markham (Pull)|
1919 ~ 2014
On April 14, 2014, in Murray, Utah, the Lord welcomed our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend into His arms.
Born on July 4, 1919, to Stephan and Maria Domenica Vicchrilli, she lived her entire life in Murray. She graduated from Murray High School in 1937 and married Delbert (Del) Markham on September 22, 1956.
Julie is survived by her three sons, Mike (Sheryl), Phil (Jami) and Chuck (Sun), and grandchildren, Shannon (Chicle') Esparza, Josh, Alex (Mari), Lindsay, Joe, Bradee, and Steve. She has one great-grandchild, Eli. Also survived by brother, Sam (Vi) Vicchrilli and sister-in-law, Evelyn Vicchrilli. Preceded in death by her Mother and Father; brothers and sisters; husband and daughter-in-law (Sheryl).
As a life-long parishioner of Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, she was a devoted and faithful servant to Christ. Her home was open to everyone and she always welcomed them with love and hospitality at the kitchen table with abundant Italian food and drink.
Our family wishes to thank Mom's caretaker Beverly Irwin as well as Millcreek Home Health and Hospice and Dina, for the wonderful care Mom received enabling her to stay in her home.
Friends may visit with the family at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on April 21, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with the recitation of the Rosary starting at 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 East Spring Lane, Holladay, Utah. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Catholic Charities.
