Ronald "Clint" Freeman Obituary
Ronald "Clint" Freeman
1969 ~ 2014
Ronald "Clint" Freeman passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, May 15, 2014, in St. Augustine, Fla. Clint was born December 23, 1969, in Bell County, at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX. He grew up in Sandy, UT and graduated from Alta High School. He served in the Utah Army National Guard obtaining the rank of Sergeant and worked for many years in sales. He was working for Allied Electronics at the time of his passing.
In his youth, Clint participated in many sports and he often spearheaded pick-up games with the neighborhood crew. He was a champion and protector of anyone smaller or younger than him, especially his younger brothers.
He loved to fish and camp. He went on annual trips to Montana, both as a child and as an adult. He was a master at "setting the hook." He spent every moment up to his last breath helping and serving others. His fantastic sense of humor and abundant concern for everyone around him will be greatly missed.
Clint married his best friend and love of his life, Amy Sipherd Freeman on March 25, 1999. They were sealed in the Orlando Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on June 30, 2007. His devotion to her was evident to everyone who knew him.
Clint loved his family and was an exemplary son, husband, father and grandpa. Even when he lived away from them, he was always concerned about his parents' well-being and happiness. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, and he was totally committed to the care of Colton, his son with special needs.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Amy Sipherd Freeman; his sons, Ronald Tyson Freeman, Colton Dale Freeman and Jackson Clint Freeman; daughters, Kajsa and Meghan Ziebell; grandson, Cameron, his parents, COL (Ret) Ron Freeman and Kathleen Ballamis Freeman; his brothers, C. Jared Freeman (Deesha) and Matthew E. Freeman (Shanae); along with many dear nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Faustine Ballamis, Weldon and Loma Freeman, and his mother-in-law Carolyn Dixon Sipherd.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W. Funeral service will be on Thursday at 12 pm with a viewing 1 hour prior at the LDS Chapel on 1187 E. Draper Parkway. Interment in the Crescent Cemetery. www.broomheadfuneralhome.com
