DeAnn Weaver, our dear wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 in her home surrounded by her family. She was seventy-four years old.
DeAnn Weaver was born August 11, 1939 in Logan, Utah. She grew up in Ogden, Utah and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. She married Richard (Dick) Weaver on March 14, 1959 in Ogden, Utah at the Copper Cottage. They were married for fifty-five years. Together they raised eight children. She loved to travel, bake her famous cinnamon rolls for family and friends at Christmas and she loved to make every holiday special. Most of all DeAnn loved her family. She dedicated her life to her family and made sure that they were all happy. DeAnn was a kind and selfless person. She always had her loved ones in her heart and in her mind.
She is survived by her husband Richard (Dick) Weaver, Sandy, UT; children Cory Weaver (Ann), Holladay, UT; Cheresa Larsen (Monty), Lawrence, UT; Vanesa Valdez (Jerry), Salt Lake City, UT; Rich Weaver, Sandy, UT; Stevie Weaver, Sandy, UT; James Weaver (Melany), Castle Dale, UT; Mysti Weaver, Sandy, UT; Kristina Weaver, West Jordan, UT; brother, Dwight Henderson (Annette), Ogden, UT; brother, Chad Henderson (Jo), Ogden, UT; brother, Brent Henderson (Mary), Salt Lake City, UT; 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
DeAnn is preceded in death by her son Robert Lee Weaver, parents and brother.
The family would like to thank hospice and our newest family member, her hospice nurse Dana Travis. Thank you for your kind heart and incredible care. We couldn't have done it without you.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 19, at 11 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), where there will be a viewing Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and again Thursday one hour prior to the service. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
