Drew Clarence Mickelsen of Clearfield, Utah, passed away Monday morning in the presence of his mother at The Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born December 16, 1982 at F.E. Warren A.F.B. in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Fred Clarence Mickelsen and Cheryl Anne Mitchell. He graduated from Clearfield High School in 2001 and later married Bradi Michelle Barton on February 20, 2004 in Clearfield, Utah.
He was employed as an Assembler at Utility Trailer for over 9 years and enjoyed his job and the people that he worked with. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Throughout his life he enjoyed classic cars and most recently was into country music.
He is survived by his wife, Bradi; three daughters, Mekenzie, Hailey and Brianna; his parents, Fred and Cheryl; his grandfather, Michael G. (Bonnie) Mitchell; five brothers, Dallin (Brittney), Shawn, Jordan (Carol), Kevin and Travis; one sister, Stephanie; and one nephew, Colton.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents, Fred K. Mickelsen, Carolyn Bradford Mickelsen and Linda North Mitchell.
Viewings will be held Friday, June 20th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road in Layton, Utah and Saturday, June 21st from Noon - 12:45 pm at the Clearfield North Stake Center, 151 North 1000 West in Clearfield, Utah. The funeral service will immediately follow on Saturday at 1:00 pm. The Interment will be at the Syracuse City Cemetery at 1250 South 1000 West in Syracuse, Utah.
