Loving husband father and grandpa
Delfino, "Wedo" was born July 26, 1947 in Lubbock, TX to Pete and Sarah Lovato. He returned peacefully to his Heavenly Father, July 2, 2014, at home surrounded by his family. Delfino married, Mariann Cleo Romero, 49 years ago. They raised seven children together. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and uncle. He was a dedicated employee at May Foundry Machinery for over 26 years.
Delfino was a tease and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed greatly by all of those he leaves behind.
Survived by his loving wife; children, Paul (Arlene), Michael, Rod, Stacey (Harry), Adrian; grandchildren, Alicia, Britney, Alexandria, Brandi, Gabrielle, Sierra, Tyler, Cruz; great-granddaughter, Sophia, and many brothers, sisters, and extended family members who loved him dearly. Preceded in death by his parents; children, Cruz and Renae.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10th, 12:00 p.m. at the Magna Christian Church, 8697 West 2700 South. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening, 6 - 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
