Dan Blair Fuehring Obituary
Dan B. Fuehring
1929 - 2014
Dan passed away on August 3, 2014 surrounded by his family.
He was born September 1, 1929 in California to Walter and Martha Blair Fuehring. After the death of both of his parents early in life, he and his brother returned to Utah to live with his aunt and uncle Winn and Elouise Poulson who raised him. He married Barbara Lyman and together they had three children Dan L. (Denise) Fuehring, Deborah (Jeff) Cottam, Paula (Steve) Fisher. After 20 years of marriage they divorced. He then married Lois Dewsnup and became the father figure to her two children Pamela Johnson and Paul (Lonni) Dewsnup, who were then 9 and 6 years old. When Dan retired from Chevron Oil in 1981, golf became a daily venture for him. Dan was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and was involved in various activities within the parish. Dan and Lois have been married the last 44 years and together they've enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, golfing, traveling, family and friends. Their combined five children have blessed them with 12 grandchildren (one who precedes his death), and 14 great-grandchildren.
