Audrey Barnson Weidauer Obituary
Audrey Barnson Weidauer
1942 ~ 2014
Our beloved wife, mom, sister and Meme was called home to Heavenly Father Friday, August 15, 2014.
Born March 8, 1942 in Kingston, Utah to Riley and Norma Barnson, one of eight children. She married her high school sweetheart, Glen Weidauer, April 27, 1962. Audrey worked for Western/ Delta Airlines for 40 years as a reservation and gate agent. She spent countless hours and years volunteering as a United States Swimming Official for Utah swimming, where her kids grew up competing, and was the best swim mom on deck. Everyone knew her and came to her for everything. She was an avid outdoor enthusiast where she enjoyed camping, four wheeling and was an expert marksman. She always put her family first and enjoyed every minute of family time.
Audrey is survived by her husband Glen Weidauer; daughter Stacey (John) Tobey (Griffin, Caden and Paiten); son Josh (Andrea) Weidauer (Rylee and Riggin). She is looking forward to seeing her son Griffin and many family members.
The family would like to thank Country Life Care Center and Anne Snow, from Home Instead, for all the care and support they have shown Audrey and her family during their time of need.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at the South Jordan 4th Ward, 2580 West 9800 South where a viewing will be held, 12-12:45 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
