Lisa Marie Ostler born on August 16, 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 3, 2016. Her life was all too brief as an acute cardiac event ushered her into the arms of her beloved grandfather and Savior. Through her own darkness, Lisa was a beacon of spiritual light to all who knew her. She was the embodiment of unconditional love, continually teaching her family and friends how to "love one another." Lisa's compassion was boundless, she did not discriminate in her acts of service and healing.
We are better people for having been loved by her. We honor her memory when we see people on the soul level and meet them with kindness and generosity of heart.
Lisa is survived by her parents Kim and Calvin Ostler, her siblings Elizabeth Ostler, Laura Madrigal (Johnny) and Robert Ostler (Rachael), her children, Zack, Calvin, Elizabeth and Lilly and their father Malcolm Kengike, and many nieces, nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 6th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Stoneridge LDS Wardhouse, 12070 South Laurel Chase Drive, Riverton Utah, 84065. Funeral services will be held at the same location on Thursday, April 7th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, kindly contribute to the memorial fund: www.youcaring.com/lisaostler

I met Lisa several years ago and she was a delight. Intelligent, gracious and charming. I was sincerely sadden to hear of her passing. She touched my life and the lives of many. Vaya con Dios Lisa.
