Obituary Condolences

Duncan Moody-Bronston 1982 ~ 2006 On Thursday evening, July 6, 2006, our precious son, Duncan Moody-Bronston, took his life. Born May 9, 1982, he was 24 years old. Duncan graduated from West High School in the International Baccalaureate Program and from the University of Utah with a B.A. in Physical Anthropology. Duncan was a sweet soul and a delightfully bright human being, beloved by all who knew him -- and there were many. Indeed, his friends were his chief reason for being and they were his greatest pleasure in life. He loved to solve problems, to tutor others in math and to play on his computer. He was a wonderful teacher. He was an intelligent and compassionate observer of life. He searched deeply for answers through his practice and study of Buddhism. He had a generous heart and a profound social conscience. He was the love of his parents' life. No words can express how much he will be missed. He is survived by his parents, Mary Moody, and Ken Bronston and a world of friends and relatives who loved him. A private memorial service will be held. A memorial bench will be placed at Red Butte Gardens in Duncan's honor. Donations can be made to Red Butte at 285 S. Connor St., Salt Lake City, UT. 84113.
