Eldon DwaineSwenson "Swens"  FAIRVIEW - Eldon Dwaine "Swens" Swenson was born May 21, 1923 in LaSal, UT the youngest of Anthere Mills and John Swenson. Dwaine passed away in Mt. Pleasant, UT June 14, 2003. He grew up in Fairview, UT, where he graduated from North Sanpete High in 1941. He served for a short time in the U.S. Army during World War II before being medically discharged. He moved to Havre, MT in 1948 and, except for a short move to Salt Lake City, lived there until he retired in 1990, when he returned to Fairview. While in Havre, he was employed by Don's Pharmacy in the Camera Dept.He is survived by his sisters, Ora (Swenson) Brown, Mt. Pleasant, Vanetta (Naef) Jonasen, Ephraim, UT, Helen (Swenson) Syndergaard, Rock Springs, WY, Ronna Lee (Vern) Swen-son Torgerson, Richfield, UT, Jay L (Afton) Swenson, Kearny, NE; sister-in-law, Barbara Swenson, Whittier, CA; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Shirley Swenson, Ross Naef, Harry Swenson; and sister, Wilma Naef Vance Anderson. Services will be Thurs. June 19, 2003, 11 a.m. Fairview LDS 1st Ward Chapel. Friends may call Thurs. 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Fairview City Cemetery. Directors, Magleby-Rasmussen Mortuary.
