Obituary Condolences

Phillip L. Sweat 1962 ~ 2009 Phillip Sweat passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 8, 2009. Born June 26, 1962 in Heber to Lavar and Ann Sweat. Phil was a husband, father, son and master of dry humor; he brought many laughs to a room. He was enjoyed by many whether it be old or new faces meeting him for the first time Phil loved the mountains along with a passion for skiing, biking, loud rock music and guitars. His most recent travels took him to Thailand (rock climbing), Costa Rica (rafting), and through much of Europe. Phil served in the Air Force from 1986-1993 in Idaho and the Netherlands. He was currently employed at the VA Medical Center. Survived by his wife, Kelly R. Sweat; son, Tracer Sweat; former wife, Claudette and children, Sheramie and Bryton Sweat; parents Lavar (Mary) Sweat; Ann Erickson; and Dave (Marge) Erickson; siblings, Bruce (Connie) Sweat; Christine (Jody) Curtis; Amy (Randy) Park; David (Colleen) Erickson and Sandra Erickson; many wonderful nieces and nephews; dog Joe Brown; cats, Ashe, Mr. Biggins and Porkchop. A celebration of Phil's life will be held for friends and co-workers Sunday, Jan. 25th from 1-5 p.m. at his home. Call 589-6979 or email sweatk@earthlink.net for info.
