James Roberts, Jr. 1915 ~ 2009 Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather James Roberts, Jr. passed away peacefully Monday, March 30, 2009.He was born on Sept. 3, 1915 in Tyldesley, England. He was the son of James Cornelius Roberts and Sara Ellen Bond. Dad came to the United States with his parents and his sister when he was five years old. To the Roberts family,
On behalf of my father, Bill Scott, who passed on in September 2005, I want to express condolences on Jim's passing.
I didn't realize it was Jim until I took a really good look at the announcement in the paper yesterday, Sunday, April 5.
Dad worked with Jim in the late 50s and early 60s and regulaly stopped to visit him at his dealership until it closed in the 90s. He thought the world of Jim and valued his friendship.

Dearest Nolie and family . . . What a lovely man! The pictures of Jimmie bring back so many wonderful memories. I think of your family so very often, all of you were there for me in the early days of my marriage when I needed you the most. What great times we had. I credit Nolie and Jimmie with so many things I accomplished as a mother and a wife--such great role models. We all remember Jim with such fondness, he was truly a man who valued his family and his profession. I hope to see all of you at the gathering on Sunday evening.

All my love, Helen Wyatt
