GRANT VOGEL Obituary
Grant Ryan Vogel 1/24/1979~12/13/2009 "I'm Kind of a Big Deal" Grant Ryan Vogel passed away suddenly on December 13, 2009 leaving behind his "little monkey" Lily Vyne Vogel, age 6. He had a life force that drew people to him. He had a strong sense of loyalty and had a creative mind that he expressed through his love of music and dance. His gift of music lives on in his children, daughter Lily, and son, Jonathan. Although passing at an early age, Grant led an extraordinary life. Grant was a loving father, son, brother and best-friend. He captured the small moments of life in the extreme through snowboarding, skateboarding, hanging around with friends with a daring and carefree personality. Grant was always there to make you laugh and was very charismatic. His smile was infectious and he had a heart of gold. Our grief has no words as we deal with this tragic loss. We will celebrate your life and loves you left behind, remembering as long as we hold you in our memory we will never be apart. Grant will always be in our hearts and will be waiting for us all in heaven. Grant was preceded in death by his wife, Jasmine Blu Sopawink-Vogel, Lily Vyne's mother. We invite friends and family to celebrate Grant's life at a memorial ceremony on January 16th, 2010 at the Community Center of Riverdale from 2 to 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers we have set up a savings fund for his daughter, Lily V. Vogel at Wells Fargo Bank. For additional information, visit Facebook or Myspace under Grant Vogel. Thank you all for sharing in our son's life and leaving him with countless memories as I'm sure he has impacted all of your hearts.
