Obituary Condolences

Krista Lynn Moroge-Beutler 1974 ~ 2010 Our beloved wife, daughter, sister and aunt, Krista Lynn Moroge-Beutler, age 36, passed away on May 24, 2010 in the loving arms of her husband and mother, after a three year battle with breast cancer.Krista was born on May 9th, 1974 in Springville, NY. She married Park Beutler on October 5th, 2002. Krista graduated from Griffith Institute High School, in Springville, NY in 1992 before attending Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY. She was very active in sports; in 1993 she moved to Colorado and then later moved to Utah to pursue her dream of snowboarding. After working for Nitro Snowboards and Scott USA, she took a job with Burton snowboards as a territory manager for Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. She formed the independent sales agency SLKC with four employees working under her direction. Her work took her to Chile, New Zealand, Switzerland and Argentina snowboarding. Krista also enjoyed skateboarding, racing her motorcycle at Miller Motor Sports Park and loved to paint and draw. Krista is survived by her husband Park, who was the love of her life and cared for her tirelessly. She is also survived by her step-children; Levi and Cardi (Beutler), mother Donna Moroge, step-father Raymond Perrington, brother John Moroge Jr. (Marge), sister Sherry (Moroge) Bemb (Tim), grandparents Robert and Elizabeth Barthel, nieces and nephews; Cory, Josh, Alisha, Jesse, Jake, Kyle, Sylena, and her great-niece Mikalah. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 2nd at 11a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel at 900 Eagle Point Blvd, North Salt Lake, UT 84054. A memorial service will also be held in Springville, NY on Saturday June 12th, 2010. The family would like to thank all her relatives, friends and wonderful neighbors for their help and support. The family also thanks Hospice of Utah for their guidance and care.
