James Robert Bryant "Bob" 1929 ~ 2010 Soaring with the Eagles James Robert Bryant, 81, passed away at his home in Sandy, Utah on August 11, 2010, surrounded by his family and loved ones.He was born on February 19, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Erastus James and Etta Gertrude Buck Bryant. Married Connie Haacke in 1954. Later divorced. Bob married Luana May Gilbertson on Friday, October 13, 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a master craftsman who perfected his woodworking skills and loved to give away these beautiful handmade creations. His passions in life spanned from fast cars, fast food, eagles and providing service to all. Survived by his wife, Luana Bryant; dog, Ginger; children, Karla Bryant; Sherry (Gary) McCormick; Kurt (Pat) Bryant; Russ (Susan) Bryant; Kathy (Ken) Cannon; Jennifer (Ron) Stanger; Natalie (Rob) Staker; Jason (Heather) Bryant Tomlin; many loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand-daughter; sister, Lois Walker; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Bryant; sisters, Jean Bryant; Christine Walters. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Joe and Connor from Hearts for Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Crescent 3rd Ward, 949 East 10600 South. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S.
