MACK PIEROTTI Obituary
Mack Pierotti 1913 ~ 2011 Mack Pierotti passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving wife and surrounded by his children on February 21, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah.He was born on July 3, 1913 to Pietro and Angelina Pierotti in Rye, Colorado. He proudly served his country in World War II as a deep sea diver in the Navy. Mack owned a successful business in Alamasa, Colorado where he raised his family and was actively involved in community service. Our father was an exceptional role model for not only his children and grandchildren but for countless others that will mourn his passing. He is survived by his wife Arlene, two sons: Jimmy Pierotti of Eldridge, MO; and Ray Pierotti of Durango, CO; two daughters; Sharon (John) Ader of Sandy, Utah; and Deb Pierotti of Battleboro, VT; as well as six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Steve Pierotti of Walsenburg, CO; and Lou (Lee) of Los Almos, NM. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Pierotti and sisters Julia Suspansic and Virginia Bartlucci. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 26th at 11 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on 2315 East Redondo Ave in Salt Lake City. A vigil service and visitation will be held on Friday the 25th from 6-8 p.m. also at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Mack Pierotti to Good Samaritans Program, 331 E South Temple Street, Salt Lake City 84111. Arrangements entrusted to Starks Funeral Parlor.
