Obituary Condolences

Kenneth Jay Keller 1935 ~ 2011 FARMINGTON - Ken was welcomed in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on July 25, 2011 while surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was born on September 5, 1935 to Malachi Lovy Keller and Lillie Conella Larsen. He was one of 10 children. He married his sweetheart, Marjorie Renae Greenhalgh on October 30, 1953 and was sealed to her in the Salt Lake Temple on June 14, 1963. He was a hard worker who always had a smile in his heart and loved everyone. He worked in farming and later at Miller Floral in Farmington, managing the rose house. He worked for the Davis County School district for 50 years, loving every minute of it. He was a member in good standing of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served faithfully as a Scout Master, Special Needs Scouting, Librarian and served a seven year mission at the Centerville Dry Pack Cannery. His true love in life besides his wife and kids was wood working, especially making toys. It was his goal to put a toy into the hands of as many children as possible. Each one was made with love and perfection. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Renae, parents, Malachi and Lillie, his daughter Tina Smith, his grandsons, Steven Jay Keller, Jason L. Schenk, his great-grandson, Preston Parker, one brother and six sisters. He was survived by his children: Christine (Michael) Rogers, Kevin (MaryJo) Keller, Timothy (Jennifer) Keller, Dave (Kari) Smith, 19 grandchildren and almost 20 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Cleone and (Elwood) Johnston and Maryann (Bernard) Tucholski. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Farmington 2nd Ward, 695 South 200 East, Farmington, Utah. Viewing for family and friends will be held Tuesday at the Farmington 2nd Ward from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
