Paula Bray Obituary
1957 ~ 2011
Paula Linette Chaffin Bray, born January 14, 1957, left this life on September 9, 2011. As our matriarch, she loved many things, but above all, she loved her family.
Paula loved to garden, care for her animals, immerse herself in a good book and tie blankets for her favorite charity organization, the Salt Lake Rape Recovery Center. She adored her grandchildren and was preparing a special playroom for them in her home. Paula spent the last 19 years at 35,000 feet as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines. To our dear Paula, we are all unspeakably saddened by your departure. We will carry on your traditions and love of family forever and ever. Your soul runs through each of us and your influence has made us strong, independent, capable, and loving people. Thank you for the life lessons! We will all commit to "be excellent to each other", as you were to each of us.
Paula is survived by her "Sweetie" Larry, her children Steph, Jai, Phil, Jessi, Ali, Dallas, their dad Phil and their significant others; her grandchildren Josh, Dax, Jeremy, Derek, Sydney, Katelyn, Kelsey, Gabriel, Savanna, Noah, Annalise and little Sam who is on the way. She is also survived by her mother Jeanine, and her siblings Kristine, Tom, Biff, Debi, Carrie, and Barney. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11:00a.m. at the Sandy 1st ward, 8680 S 220 E, Sandy, UT.
