Thank you all for allowing Tracy and I to be part of that great funeral today...honoring a great man!It meant so much to Tracy...I laughed so hard when one of the grand daughters in her talk said something about how Tom was going to work... code word the "horse races". We talked all about horse racing and he loved that I went to Kentucky on my mission. I believe I even gave him a set of pictures of every horse that ever won the KY Derby! He loved them! Thanks again and thanks for a very nice and memorable day! Love ya all! Doug Murray

Steph and family

I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was one of my favorite while growing and spending time at the Crosby's home. Always kind and gentle but when he spoke you knew it meant something. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time.

Uncle Tom,
I am grateful for the quiet giant that is you. I enjoyed the many thoughtful and quiet talks that we shared. Your wisdom and love felt so tenderly. Your strong sense of family and tradition will always resonate in our hearts and in our lives and in our memories. You are greatly loved and will always be remembered. Though it is your time to go, you will be sorely missed and never forgoten. You have touched my heart forever and I love you....

Tom was the most wonderful neighbor I have ever met! He was so sweet and helpful, and wanted to teach the children all kinds of things! He taught Matthew how to sharpen chainsaw "blades" with a file, Josh missed out! So cute with Scotland, the other grand & great-grand-children & Destiny...He even let Ryan & Allie's little poodle Humphrey bark at him with his glasses on and then let him come up to the yard whenever I was there! We had so many ‘intimate' talks, he was such a teacher in so many ways! I learned so much about the way the neighborhood was built, Dorothy, Mockingbird Orange's, Creeping Virginia's and so much more! We discovered my orange & yellow tomatoes together and we both LOVED them! He was always so sweet, never rude, judgmental or adversarial! I am going to miss him immensely! I have experienced a loss that I will not forget! You had a "One-in-a-Million" Pops! We have come to love you all and thank you for sharing him with us!
