Kari Sturgeon Obituary
Our beautiful Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt and Friend left this world Friday, October 12th at her home in Murray, Utah. She was truly an angel for so many relatives, friends and students at Murray High School. But for anyone who knew her, her special interests were her family, especially her 3 sons. For me, her husband, she was everything-past, future, and what lies beyond. She will truly be missed by anyone who ever came into contact with her. Kari loved to be with her family and loved to camp at Strawberry Reservoir. Otherwise, she could be found doing her crafts or making others' lives better by being available in anyway possible. "Goodbye, my dear wife. I always loved you as best as anyone could. Goodbye, dear mother. You were the best we could have hoped for. Goodbye, dear friend. No one could have asked for better. You were our solid rock-Hopeful, helpful and loving until the end….Until we meet again, you are in our hearts, prayers and every thought."
Kari leaves behind 3 wonderful children: Kody (Liz), Daniel and Brady; her husband, Billy; 3 grandchildren, Aja, Kj, Michael; and her 2 beloved dogs, Meisha and Mya. Also survived by her mother, Maxine (Wayne); sister, Jenn (Stuli); and brother, Jody Webb. Kari is preceded in death by her father, Noel W Webb; brother, Mitchell W Webb; and sister, Jackie Beatie.
A million times we've needed you, a million times we've cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still; in our hearts, you hold a special place no one else will ever fill.

Please come celebrate Kari's life on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 12 Noon at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, Murray, Utah. There will be a viewing from 11:00-12:00 prior to services. Interment: Murray City Cemetery. It was Kari's wish that you come in casual attire.

Goodbye my beloved friend, I am still in a state of disbelief? You were my best friend from 10th Grade on. I always knew no matter what you were always there for me, I miss you greatly. Though our lives were busy and we lived a distance apart, we still remained in touch and close friends.
Words cannot express the loss I feel for Bill,your children, your mom, your family and all the friends you made through your life. You touched so many peoples lifes, with your smile, your laugh and the comfort you gave to everyone around you. We have all lost someone tremendously special. Thanks for sharing Kari with us at Murray High School.
She made my day brighter every time I got to see her. When she was with students in my classroom - I wanted to teach better, be more patient, more accepting, and more of all the many things that Kari was and is. I never had a chance to buy you the book Wink. This book is about all the turmoil in life we go through. How we struggle and sometimes we feel lost. Then God blesses us with a little wink. Kari I loved you when I didn't know you. I would hear so many funny stories or Dave would share emails with me that you sent him. For this reason I am so grateful that my husband had the opportunity to meet Kari . She was so full of life and so funny. When I did finally meet you . Wow, Kari you were a big wink in my life you treated me and Dave like family . I will miss you but I will see you soon one day. This time I will not let you go ! Over the years working with Kari, I can't count how many times she said something to make me feel good about myself. Whether I was going through a difficult personal problem, had a huge disappointment at work, or was just tired that day, Kari always asked how I was and gave me encouragement. Words can't even express how much I'm going to miss you, Kari. Knowing you has been one of the great lights in my world. Everyone is given the gift of time on this earth to live, learn and love...to leave a legacy. Kari lived, learned and loved extraordinarily well and with purpose.
It has been way too long since we have just shared girl time together and I am saddened because I let life get in the way ... but we all have unforgettable memories ... and these memories - in our hearts - will keep you close in spirit and thought today and forever!
Sometimes there just aren't any answers . . . and there is no easy path through the sadness all who loved and cared for her will feel . . . but God sees each tear, feels every hurt and understands our need to ask "why".
