1951 ~ 2012|
Dale James Dockstader was born December 15, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Residing in his magical home in Springdale, Utah surrounded by the towering cliffs of Zion National Park, Dale has moved on to the next moment in time on November 13, 2012.
While we may have said goodbye to one of the most amazing people in this world we can find peace knowing that this amazing soul has not left us but rather transcended to another adventure in the universe he so dearly loves.
He embarks on this journey full of happiness knowing that he has not left behind a path of sorrow but a world that is a better place because of his remarkable legacy of love, hope, and kindness. This gift of knowledge and generosity is embodied in his brother Alan, sister Pam, four children Ashby, Colin, Breck and Alison, Grandchildren Cole, Sophie, Alex, Connor, Olivia, and Cooper, and a countless amount of extended family and close friends both near and far.
He left us not because of selfishness or extreme sadness but because the quality of life he was so fondly accustomed to was no longer there and the time to take the next step in his journey had arrived. Let us not mourn a loss but instead celebrate what was one of the most remarkable lives one could experience and revel in.
Please come and join us at the Cliffrose Lodge & Gardens in Springdale, Utah on Sunday November 18, 2012 at 1pm. In honor of such a colorful and charismatic person we ask that all who will join us please keep the dress to as colorful and comfortable as possible as this was Dale's mantra in life.
Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary, (435) 673-2454. Friends may sign Dale's guestbook at www.spilsburymortuary.com.
