Albert Simonich, Sr.
"That's the Way She Goes"
Albert Joseph Simonich, Sr., 92, passed away Nov. 26, 2012 in Sandy, Utah. He was born Sept. 23, 1920 in Tooele, Utah to John and Rose Turk Simonich. He married Mary Ann Zupan on Feb. 21, 1942 Midvale, Utah. She passed away on April 4, 1989.
He served in the U.S. Army in World War II, and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He was a lineman foreman for Utah Power & Light, and was a member of IBEW for 65 years. Survived by children, Albert (Jill) Simonich, Phyllis Simonich, Dorothy Dean, and Tony Simonich; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Frances Anderson. Preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Midvale City Cemetery, 450 West 7500 South. Holy Rosary will be recited Friday at 7 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, with viewings Friday 5-7 p.m. and Saturday 9-10 a.m. at the mortuary prior to the service. www.goffmortuary.com

I'm glad we had a chance to see Uncle Al one last time at my Dad's funeral. I always enjoyed it when he came to Tooele to visit our family. We will miss him.

I Always Remember mowing lawns with Tony when i was a kid. We would always cut Al's lawn last. I would see Al often, when i was done he always had cookies and a cold coke. Catch a'lot of big trout for us! Sorry for such a great loss! Best wishes!
