Hyman Davidson, age 87 passed away December 30, 2012 in Newport Beach, CA. Hy was born in Piedmont, CA to Louis Davidson and Ida Guss Davidson. Hy went to school in Salt Lake City and attended the University of Utah. He was a combat

, wounded, captured by the Germans and escaped. He was awarded the
and other citations. Hy was embraced by President Bush in 2006 at a ceremony in Holland at the cemetery where his comrades were buried. He was a noted Gemologist in the Orange County area for many years. Hy leaves behind his brother; Paul Davidson (Linda) of Salt Lake City, sister; Shirley Thorrens of Tarzana, CA, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Interment to be at Riverside National Cemetery with full military honors.
