Troy Anderson Obituary
1963 ~ 2013
Salt Lake City, UT-Troy passed away February 15, 2013 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born March 25, 1963 in Salt Lake City to Walker Eldon Anderson and Joan Cutler Anderson. Troy grew up in the Cottonwood and East Mill Creek areas of the valley. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Troy graduated from Olympus High School. He received an Associate's degree in Accounting from Philips Junior College and was a certified Microsoft engineer.
Although Troy never married or had children of his own, he loved spending time with his family. He loved his 18 nieces and nephews and their children. He supported them in all their accomplishments and special occasions.
Troy loved to travel, especially with his Mother. They enjoyed several sightseeing trips together including cross country trips. In his youth, he was an avid baseball player in little league and Babe Ruth league. Troy also played high school football at Olympus. He loved simple things like a home cooked meal, the beauties of nature, his dog Bonita and his cat Paisley. Troy found delight in remembering another person and in expressing his feelings through a gift.
Troy worked as a network technician at Shared Medical Systems and at the time of his death was working for the United States Postal Service.
Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father. Surviving are his mother, four brothers, Canyon W. Anderson (Jan), Kevin W. Anderson (Jennifer), E. Scott Anderson (Leslie), and Mark C. Anderson (Kathy), and eighteen nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013, at the East Millcreek 15th Ward Chapel, 3750 Hillside Lane at 12:00 noon. Friends may visit prior to the service from 11:00 to 11:45 am. Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
