Jack D. Lundberg passed away March 4, 2013 at 10:30 p.m. after a courageous battle with dementia and other multiple health issues. He was born January 15, 1941 at the old Maternity Home in Murray to Donald Francis Lundberg and Hilve Malvina Eck Lundberg. His twin sister, Joan, was born January 16, 1941.
Jack grew up in the Union, Midvale area. He attended Union Elementary School, was in the first class to attend Midvale Middle School and graduated from Jordan High School, after which he worked for Ford Motor Co., in their parts department. They were blessed with two great kids, a favorite son-in-law, favorite daughter-in-law, and six favorite grandchildren. His children and grandchildren were his whole life. Jack loved sports and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren in their different games. 342 was his favorite number, as that was the Western Channel station he watched everyday. He was very mild mannered and a peacemaker. He was a member of the LDS Church and at the time of his passing was the longest continual member in his ward, having lived his whole 72+ years within a half block radius.
