A loving caring Mother, Grandma, Great grandma, Sister and friend, passed away March 19th, 2013 after a courageous battle with an infection called C-diff.
Marilyn was born October 3, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marian and Davis M Webb. She attended schools in the salt lake area and graduated from South High School.
Marilyn married Dean Elliott, later divorced. Married Gordon K Davis later divorced. Married Darus E Safford. Marilyn leaves behind her five children, Robert Elliott, Terry Elliott, Renee (Danny) Williams, Scott (Cinnamon) Davis, and Deaine (Eric) Ellefsen and two step children Kevin (Renae) Safford, Randy (Cori) Safford. She has 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many brothers and sisters.
Marilyn loved to sew, do crafts but most of all listen to the man of her life Elvis Presley. She was known as the gambler to all her friends. She was recently granted the dream of her life by going to Memphis Tennessee and seeing Graceland. Thanks Terry for making this come true for her.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her late husband Darus Safford, Both sets of parents, and Brother Norman.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday March 23, 2013 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the mortuary, also one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
