Linda Lyn Pappas Obituary
7/21/1958 ~ 4/3/2013
After a hard fought fifteen-month battle with breast cancer our beautiful daughter, friend, wife, lover, mother, and worlds best tag-team parenting partner has passed away.
Lyn was born in Chicago to Bill and Carol Eagleton. She moved with her family to Upland California in 1968 and graduated from Pomona Catholic High School in 1976 and Chaffey College in 1978.
Lyn wore many hats in her life working as tech support for American Savings Bank, a graphic designer for several companies, including her own MoonBeam Productions, and after moving to Utah in 1997, for United Healthcare and the Jordan School District.
Lyn's effervescent and genuinely caring personality as well as the ability to remember names and details about people she has only just met allowed her to make friends who couldn't help to be touched by her love.
Lyn loved nature (though not all of its hexapedal inhabitants) and time spent at high mountain lakes with a pole and a book or in the cabin with cards and the family were among some of her favorite. Lyn had a passion for music, books, and most importantly her family: Her husband Nick and children Chris, Celina, and George (Yorri).
A memorial service and dinner will be held at 2:00 p.m. on the 13th of April at Noah's event center at 320 W 11000 S in South Jordan, UT.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Huntsman Cancer Hospital so they can continue to provide others with the incredible care and hope they have given to Lyn and her family.
