Chad William Berg, 29, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 11, 2013.
Chad was born on March 10, 1984 in Salt Lake City. He grew up in Taylorsville and graduated from Copper Hills High. He then attended Dawson College in Glendive, Montana where he received a scholarship for baseball and earned All- Conference First Team honors. Chad was a carpenter by trade but especially loved working at the ranch. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, camper and golfer. Chad loved spending time with his family and his dog Foxy and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Gordon Lee; and grandparents Clifford and Grace Berg.
Chad is survived by his parents, Arnold and Bobbie (Lee) Berg; grandparents Sherreldene (Gordon) LeFevre; siblings: Tiffiney (Derek) Johnston, Shane (Lisa) Berg, Justin (Rachanee) Berg, Melanie (Nate) Davis and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 11:00 a.m. at the Stonewood LDS Chapel, 6030 S. Prairie View Drive (3400 W.) with a visitation 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. A viewing will be held Tuesday, April 16, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Interment: Memorial Estates Cemetery.
