Dale Edward Larabee, age 73, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away April 18, 2013, due to complications of Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Born March 1, 1940 in Springville, UT to Frank and Juanita Larabee. Graduated from Springville High School in 1958. Dale served two years in the Utah National Guard before transferring to active duty with the
United States Air Force
. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from active duty in 1978. Dale married Susan Eileen Ehlinger August 22, 1969 (their marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple). Dale loved his family dearly. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He considered being an Eagle Scout one of his greatest accomplishments.
Survived by his wife, Susan; children, Kimberly (Guy) Hale and Mark Larabee; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Ila Kay) Larabee and Patsy Jex.
Preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter.
A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, 2:00 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior to the services, both at the mortuary. Interment to follow.
