If nothing is everything, I will have it all
Jeremy was born July 1, 1974 to Shellie Riley, and Robert Valdez.
Earned a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy with a minor in English Literature in 1997 from the University of Utah.
Married Marteen Jackson in 2002, later separated.
Jeremy was a gifted poet, philosopher, teacher, and musician, with a passion for punk rock, skateboarding, baseball, and everything connected to nature.
Jeremy's greatest accomplishment was the raising of his baby sister Rachelle, who he raised from the time she was 4. He loved that Rochema and taught her to question everything, and to avoid a herd mentality. We are so proud of the woman she has become.
We will always remember Mr. Riley for his quick wit, outright offensive humor, contagious laughter, cleverness, and intelligence.
Our hearts are broken into a million pieces for his girl, Michelle Bills, her son Dominic, and their family.
Jeremy is no longer stressed, overwhelmed, and worried. Rest away, and bless you.
Preceded in death by his father Robert Valdez, his Aunt Cindy, and his Grandmothers, and Grandfather.
Survived by his Mother Shellie, brother, Troy Cabibi, Sister Rachelle Patrick, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a gazillion friends
A simple service will be held Saturday May 18, 12 p.m. at The Music Garage 1700 South 389 West in Salt Lake City.
The family wishes to thank those who donated to cover funeral costs.
In lieu of flowers please donate to The Jeremy Riley Memorial Fund at Chase Bank Acct#2958118961
