1993 ~ 2013
Our sweet, precious, beautiful Becky passed away unexpectedly in her sleep, early Friday morning June 21, 2013. We find some comfort in knowing that her dad welcomed her with open arms. We are grateful to know that we are an eternal family!
Becky was born February 23, 1993 to Stan and Sheryl Smart in Murray, Utah. She graduated from Brighton High School in 2011. She recently graduated from Snow College with her Associate's Degree. She was currently working for our family business, Turf Sprinkler Company.
Becky loved: her family, her friends, her cat Moe, basketball, Johnny Depp, the outdoors, Lake Powell, quoting movies and especially loved her fiancé Cody. She was looking forward to spending her life together with him. Becky had such a fun personality, an infectious laugh, and a smile that would light up the room. We love you Becky!
Becky is survived by her mom, Sheryl Young Smart, her siblings - Tracy Zukowski (Jason), Mindy Ogden (Jon), Holly Smart, Carly Rignell (Jason), Dane Smart (Nancy), and fiancé Cody Frandsen, her grandparents - Gene & Elain Young, 12 nieces & nephews and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her dad Stanley Arley Smart and grandparents - Irvin & Elaine Smart.
Services will be Saturday June 29, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at the Granite View Stake Center, 9880 S. 3100 E. There will be a viewing Friday June 28, 2013 at the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 So. from 6-8 p.m. or prior to the service from 10:30AM-11:45AM at the Granite View Stake Center. Interment Granite Cemetery.

Can she really have left us 10 years ago. I remember her bright engaging personality whenever I was around her. She was so competitive that she scared girls who had to play against her :). She was such a bright life of joy which I'm sure she continues to be in Heaven.

My dear sweet darling Becky, I don't even have the words to say how or what I still feel. I think I'm still in shock, in a fog and in the denial stage all at once. But I would like to say that Becky I do love you and I am missing you every day for the rest of my life. I wish I knew how or why this happened but I don't have any answers right now. I hope I can find some kind of peace soon through the Lord Jesus Christ. Really can't wait to see you and dad again. Love from your second favorite sister.

I was a patient of Brent Rasmussen's where Becky worked. She was always so helpful and supportive, encouraging and always happy. I am profoundly sorry for your loss. I am the mother of 7, and can only imagine the sorrow. Know that she was loved, even by those who knew her only casually.

There are people that you meet that touch your life in profound ways. Becky was one of those people in my life. She was in my class when she was a sixth grader and brought friendship and joy to all who had the pleasure to know her. I am so sorry to hear of Becky''s passing. She worked for me in my clinic this past school year. What a wonderful, special young woman. She had a special way of making patients feel comfortable and at ease. It was a joy and pleasure to work with her and get to know her this past school year. I was so sad to hear of the passing of my childhood friend, Becky. She was a true friend. Although we lost contact over the years, I am grateful for the wonderful times we had together.
