Beverly Clitheroe passed away on July 3, 2013 at the age of 87.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 8, 1926 to Ruth and Lionel E. Booth, married to Jay B Clitheroe in 1950. "To our Mother, Beverly the Bard, most popular girl at East High School, Fashion Model, UCLA English Literature Major, Writer of Poetry and Rap Songs, Master of Witty Come-backs, Keeper of the Magnificent Magnolia Tree, avid cross word puzzle and word game participant, Water Ballerina, Pro Swimmer and Instructor Extraordinaire who taught us to swim before we could walk, loved by all who knew her. We thank you and Dad for creating a happy, safe and sane environment for us to grow up in, for imparting your values and worldly wisdom, for making a world of education and opportunity available to us, for insisting that we think for ourselves, for letting us make our own mistakes, for making our friends welcome in your home, for more fond memories than we can count, for loving us and our children. The world is a better place because of you. Know that your dreams for us came true; we are happy, healthy and productive. Until our paths cross again, you are in our hearts."
Beverly was preceded by her husband Jay, survived by her children Jay (Julie), Sally (Mike), Lee (Ross), grandchildren Josh, Aaron, Jessica, Brittany, Sara, Adrienne, great-granddaughter Bailey.
