Obituary Condolences

Chad Blake Morgan 8/16/75 ~ 2/5/06 Our loving dad, brother, son and great friend, Chad Blake Morgan, passed away early Sunday morning February 5, 2006 of unknown causes. Chad was born on August 16, 1975 in Salt Lake City to Rob and Jody Morgan. He graduated from Skyline High School (1993) and attended UVSC on a baseball scholarship. He faithfully served in the California Arcadia Mission. Chad was the third of seven loving brothers and sisters. He married Andrea Starkey in Salt Lake City, Utah, May 15, 2001 and later divorced. They were blessed with one son, who was Chad's greatest joy. Chad was an outstanding athlete who excelled in baseball, football, basketball and golf. Known for his great sense of humor and a light-hearted personality he made lifelong friendships easily and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was blessed with an enormous extended family and numerous friends. Chad leaves a large void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. A knowledge that families can be together forever, along with many happy memories, makes our loss more bearable. Chad is survived by his son, Joshua Chad, parents and siblings; Christa (Brent) Morgan, Troy (Breklyn) Morgan, Stacey (Miles) Day, Natalie (Andrew) Dykes, Allison (Tom) Gibbs, Eric Morgan, Grandmother Mabel Hammond, seven nieces and nephews, his good friend Liz who was a great blessing in his life and her daughter, Ashlin. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Herald Hammond, Aubra and Maxine Morgan, and nephew Hunter. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the East Millcreek Stake Center, 3103 East 3600 South. Friends may call Thursday February 9, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr., and Friday from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers we would like to request that a donation be made to the Chad B. Morgan Trust Fund at U.S. Bank for the benefit of Joshua Chad Morgan.
